SAHM 2021 Annual Meeting – Virtual

A maximum of 39.5 CME/36.5 CE credit hours are available for recorded content from the SAHM 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting. Please review the accreditation statements in the Learner Notification below. *AAFP Credit will only be available for sessions viewed live.

Please note – On-demand workshops were pre-approved for 1.0 contact hour for accreditation. Some presenters may have gone over the allotted time; however, they are only eligible for 1.0 hour of continuing education credit each.

CME/CE Evaluations and Certificates

Participants who purchase CME/CE will receive an email the Friday following their registration with instructions to complete their evaluation and print their certificate.

Learners must listen to each self-directed audio recording while following along with the visual slides/complete a posttest for MOC credit and complete an evaluation form to receive a certificate of completion. Your chosen sessions must be attended in their entirety.  Partial credit of individual sessions is not available.   OR    You must attend the entire webinar as partial credit is not available.  (For Enduring / On-Demand APA credits you also need to pass a posttest with a score of at least 80%).  If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed below, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.

Social Workers

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Amedco is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Amedco maintains responsibility for this course. AAFP *This accreditation was only available for sessions attended Live (not recordings).
The AAFP has reviewed SAHM 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting-Mapping an Agenda to Transform the Future of Adolescent Health and deemed it acceptable for up to 19.50 In-Person, Live (could include online) AAFP Prescribed credit. Term of Approval is from 03/08/2021 to 03/12/2021. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Objectives – After attending this program you should be able to:

  1. Promote psychological well-being by engaging in practices that acknowledge and integrate the protective power of relationships.
  2. Implement effective strategies that promote psychological well-being among youth in the context of conflict, disaster, and flight.
  3. Promote psychological well-being in the context of immigrant youth experiences.
