Beyond the Basics: Adolescent Medicine as a Tool for Social Justice
This lecture series brings a racial justice and health equity lens to key adolescent health topics. The series’ objectives are to improve providers’ clinical practice and our community’s effort to advance health equity. Each lecture addresses the underlying issues that create health disparities for adolescent patients, and is designed to build participants’ skills as well as their confidence in addressing the most important health needs of their adolescent patients.
This virtual lecture series complements the SAHM Adolescent Medicine Resident Curriculum and is delivered by SAHM Experts. However, all SAHM members are encouraged to participate!
