SAHM is now accepting nominations for three of its awards:
- LGBTQIA Adolescent and Young Adult Health Research Award
- Racial Justice and Health Equity Award
- Lawrence S. Neinstein Award in Educational Scholarship to Advance Adolescent and Young Adult Health

LGBTQIA Adolescent and Young Adult Health Research Award
SAHM is accepting applications for the sixth annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA) Adolescent and Young Adult Health Research Award. The goal of this annual award is to support research and program evaluation focused on LGBTQIA adolescents and young adults ages 13 to 26.
All disciplines are welcome to apply. SAHM membership is encouraged but not required.
Racial Justice and Health Equity Award
SAHM is accepting applications for the second annual SAHM Racial Justice and Health Equity Award. This annual award supports research and program evaluation focused on racial justice and/or health equity within adolescent health and medicine.
All disciplines are welcome to apply. SAHM membership is required.
Lawrence S. Neinstein Award in Educational Scholarship to Advance Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Health (LSN Award)
The LSN Award recognizes and supports innovative and scholarly educational projects pertaining to adolescent and young adult health and medicine.
All disciplines are welcome to apply. SAHM membership is encouraged but not required.
The application deadline for these three awards is 11:59 p.m. EDT, Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
