2026-27 Call for Volunteers: Committee Members

SAHM is conducting a Call for Volunteers for Committee Members to help us complete the rosters for several committees for 2026-27. Talented volunteers are the lifeblood of every membership organization. The Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM) invites you to share your passion by serving on one of SAHM’s many committees.

All committee members must be members in good standing in the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine. If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2026, please do so now. The term of service for committee members is three years with the option for re-appointment to an additional three-year term. (Article X, SAHM By-Laws).

Committee appointments are made by the President in consultation with the President-Elect and Committee Chairs. Final decisions will consider the applicant’s preference while also considering relevant bylaws requirements, space available, the needs of the committee and ensuring each committee roster includes a diverse representation of the SAHM membership. Keeping with the multidisciplinary and global perspective of SAHM, we encourage applications from members worldwide and from all disciplines and experience levels.

Terms
Committee members serve three-year terms and can serve up to two consecutive terms as a committee member (total six years). Committee Members appointed during this call will have their first term expire after the SAHM 2029 Annual Meeting.
