Northern California Regional Chapter

Northern California Regional Chapter – Active

The Northern California Chapter of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine is a multidisciplinary organization consisting of health care professionals committed to the high quality care of adolescents and young adults in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento and the entire region of California from Monterey County to the Oregon border. Our membership is inclusive of all disciplines including physicians, researchers, social workers, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, mental health providers, dietitians, health educators, public health professionals, trainees, students, and advocates.

Chapter membership is FREE and you do not need to be members of the greater SAHM organization. Please join the chapter by using the link below or finding our Google Group and requesting membership: sahm-norcal-chapter@googlegroups.com.

OUR GOALS:

  • Foster community at the regional level for SAHM members and community members who are dedicated to the health of adolescents and young adults through a chapter forum as well as events.
  • Meet as a chapter during the SAHM Annual Meeting.
  • Stimulate and encourage advocacy to promote adolescent and young adult health locally and in California.
  • Collaborate with other regional professional organizations, and the SAHM organization more broadly, on issues related to adolescent health.
  • Encourage participation of students and trainees with reduced or waived fees for events.
