Meet SAHM’s New Executive Director
As many of you know from a recent email from SAHM President Paritosh Kaul, SAHM has a new executive director. Philip Waitzman MBA, MPH, MA, LSW, has joined SAHM as our new Executive Director with an aim to achieve strategic objectives, goals and increase quality membership experience. Sheila Lee has shifted to an operations focus with an aim to work closely with Phil to deliver on scope and objectives.
Phil comes to us having served as Executive Director at several previous associations including multidisciplinary healthcare associations similar to SAHM. Phil will be transitioning into SAHM until the Annual Meeting. During this period, please feel free to email Phil and Sheila jointly on initiatives so that they can determine best practice to fulfill requests in a timely manner.
Phil is a Licensed Social Worker and has a bachelor’s degree from Drake University, a master’s degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, and an MBA and MPH from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
