SAHM Supports Scientific Integrity in Vaccine Policy to Protect the Health for Adolescents

A Statement by the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine

The Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM) did not participate in the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) meeting this week. We believe the independence and credibility of vaccine policy must be protected for the health of all young people. This decision was in alignment with other youth health serving organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
