New England Regional Chapter

The New England Chapter (includes Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine) of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (NERC SAHM) is an interdisciplinary organization open to all who care for and about youth. This includes physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, health educators, counselors, teachers, mental health and human service and public health personnel. Chapter members do not need to be members of the national organization. Dues are $30 annually, from April to April.

Our Objectives

  • Act as a source of information and referral for adolescent health care throughout New England.
  • Promote high quality health care for adolescents by fostering communication and collaboration among adolescent health professionals.
  • Encourage professional growth among those who help care for adolescents, including trainees, by presenting opportunities for continuing education and advocacy.
