SAHM Student-Trainee Council

The SAHM Student-Trainee Council (STC) is a leadership council consisting of SAHM member trainees dedicated to the field of Adolescent Medicine. The mission of the STC is to cultivate the multidisciplinary practice and the field among medical trainees at all levels and medical specialties. Our primary role is to serve as a representative liaison to the larger SAHM organization to convey the unique needs and desires of trainees within SAHM. We foster year-round engagement and networking of SAHM trainee members both during and outside of the annual conference through various events including a workshop on how to apply to Adolescent Medicine fellowship, career panels highlighting the wide array of careers that SAHM members pursue, and social functions. We also organize a series of virtual lectures for fellows on focused on a diverse range topics within adolescent medicine.
