The SAHM 2023 Annual Meeting has been submitted for a maximum of 21.5 CME/19.5 CE hours for live meeting attendance to the accreditation providers listed below. Additional credit hours are available for recorded sessions. Review the accreditations listed for their approval status and available credit.  

Note- AAFP Credit will only be available for sessions viewed live.

CME/CE Evaluations and Certificates

Participants who purchase CME/CE will receive an email within one week after the conference with instructions to complete their evaluation and print their certificate. Credit will only be awarded for sessions you have attended in full; no partial credit will be awarded.

Utilize the Attendance Log to help you keep track of the sessions you view live and as recordings. Keep this for your reference to complete your CME/CE evaluations.

Recordings

Select sessions will be recorded and available to view after the event. Recorded sessions will be indicated in the Whova App Agenda as Virtual. Additional credit hours are available for recorded sessions. Please note – that the credit total for enduring content was adjusted post-conference due to the cancellation of two pre-recorded sessions.

ABP MOC Part 2 Credits

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participant and feedback to the participant, enables the participant to earn 9.00 Live Activity MOC Part 2 points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit. Participant must complete the assessment within 30 days of the activity.

Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Amedco maintains responsibility for this course. This program has been approved for up to 19.50 clock hours by the Louisiana Counseling Association as authorized by the Louisiana Professional Counselor Licensing Board of Examiners. 

American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP)* Live credit only
The AAFP has reviewed SAHM 2023 Annual Meeting- Collaborations in Adolescent Health and deemed it acceptable for up to 21.50 Live AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 03/07/2023 to 03/10/2023. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1. 

Objectives – After attending this program you should be able to:

  1. Encourage collaborations across healthcare sectors through translational science: translating research into pragmatic clinical practice and public health efforts.
  2. Provide innovative care and support to adolescents that is both equitable and grounded in science.
